Holly Anderson - National Sales Director
Proud to be fifth generation Alexander Valley, Holly always knew that she would work in the wine industry. Though fascinated by her family’s vineyards, it was a weekend in which she convinced a babysitter to allow her to sell her unsuspecting family’s belongs at a garage sale to finance a new pink backpack that proved sales was her true calling.
Recognizing that she would spend her childhood and adult life in wine country, Holly traveled east to Boston to attend Northeastern University where she earned her degree in Journalism and Public Relations. While working for public relations firms in Boston, she couldn’t shake her love for the wine industry and made time to work with distributors, selling wine for a small Dry Creek winery.
Knowing that distributor experience would be essential in helping her succeed with a small winery back in California, she accepted a position as an on-premise fine wine rep for National Distributing Company in Washington DC. After learning the distribution side of the business, she at last made it back to California with PlumpJack Winery in national sales. Working with distributors and representing a small winery finally combined everything that she loved about the wine industry.
After gaining valuable experience at PlumpJack Winery, Holly accepted the challenge of National Sales for Spring Mountain Vineyard where she continued working with key accounts and distributors. It was during her time on Spring Mountain that she married Barrett Anderson, toasting him at their wedding with her favorite wine, Vineyard 29’s 2000 Aida Red Wine.
Over a year later, in the fall of 2006, she was honored to have the opportunity to do more than toast with the wine she had long admired and respected and accepted the position of National Sales Director for Vineyard 29. She now focuses on building brand awareness selling Vineyard 29’s 29 Estate, Aida Estate and Cru wines to key accounts throughout the county.
