The inaugural release of Vineyard 29’s CRU is a triumph. CRU is made from six vineyards specifically selected by our winemaking team from all across the Napa Valley. This stellar fruit then follows the same vinification process as all the wines in Vineyards 29’s portfolio from hand sorting to gentle processing in Vineyard 29’s state of the art full gravity flow winery. All this attention results in a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The nose opens with ripe, dark berry aromas leading to chocolate, creamy toffee and caramel. The palate continues this richness with dark cherry flavors accented by cassis, sweet baking spices and dried herbs. The mouthfeel is supple with silky tannins and succulent richness leading to a long and concentrated finish. CRU is a wine easily enjoyed now through 2010.
